Mohammed Salahuddin Engineering Consulting Bureau (MSCEB) awarded the Salahuddin Engineering Award to two remarkable engineering students Hessa Basim Yaqoub Al-Hamar for her excellence in architectural design and Halima Ahmed Al-Mulla for her excellence in the interior design of the graduation project during a ceremony held recently at the University of Bahrain in the exhibition of the Faculty of Engineering, June 2019.
This award holds the name of the distinguished Bahraini architect Eng. Salahuddin bin Ahmed bin Hassan Ibrahim, whose distinguished work continues to this day. ”Bab Al-Bahrain” and many other projects have witnessed the excellence of this architecture, making him one of the pioneers of the modern architectural school in the Kingdom of Bahrain. “This award aims at opening the horizons of competition between the students of architecture and engineering at the University of Bahrain for excellence and creativity in the process of designing projects and encouraging them to use the latest technology and science in the process of building design,” said Mr. Thamer Salahuddin.
This sector has a significant impact on highlighting the Kingdom of Bahrain in a modern and sophisticated architectural style.The award is granted annually by Mohammed Salahuddin Engineering Consulting Bureau (MSCEB) for distinguished graduation projects at the Faculty of Engineering in accordance with the criteria for nomination and the regulations governing it.
