2020 Salahuddin Award

Committed to encouraging the next generation to become passionate about the quality of design in Engineering, “The Salahuddin Engineering 2020 Award” was given to two Engineering students, Architecture Student Massoud Bushehri, and ID Student Nadia Ahmed, who have demonstrated Engineering Excellence and Innovation in their graduation’s project.

“The Salahuddin Award”, An award that carried the name of the late Bahraini Architect Eng. Salahuddin Bin Ahmed Bin Hassan Ibrahim (1918 -1957), who has designed Bab Al-Bahrain and many other landmark projects in Bahrain in that era. Our goal is to continue to honor the opportunities for innovation and to bring together students from different disciplines to share their creative ideas. We are keen to promote new generations of architects and sowing the seeds for Bahrain’s future.
